Intro
I always have a bittersweet feeling toward the ending of a series I’ve loved. While I was so excited to finally unearth all the secrets within the pages of the Lonely Souls series, I am so sad to be saying goodbye to these characters.
The Heroine
Thea is such a cool character. She’s always been a fierce and independent woman, but I felt like she truly grew into her own in this book. She finally learned how to open up her heart and love and be loved the way she and her men deserve.
Part of what I love so much about Thea is that she isn’t a hardass, but she is a badass. She’s so strong and courageous, but her personality doesn’t make me want to hide in a corner from the harshness of it, lol. She’s loyal and empathetic and I felt like I could relate to her in a lot of ways.
The Heroes
Hayle, Leo, Tristin have gone through some major character changes in this series and I loved every second of it. I honestly don’t have anything more to say than they’re incredible and this is one of the few series where I don’t have a favorite by the end.
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how they each ended up in this series and while I’m going to miss them like crazy, I can’t wait to revisit them on one of my–I’m sure–many re-reads <3
Bullet Points
- FINALLY getting the Hayle and Thea love I’ve been dying for. Sure, he’s kind of got his head up his ass for part of the book, but dang, once they’re together…it’s amazing.
- The Vincent arc in this series comes to fruition in this book, and all I can say is, wow. I didn’t see most of that coming and it kinda blew my mind.
- I love Susan and Gerard so much. They’re such an adorable couple and so sweet to Thea and the guys. I loved their interaction <3
- Petra is a fricken bomb ass best friend. She’s seriously one of the coolest girls ever and I would love to have her as a friend!
Conclusion
There’s a point in this book where I looked down to see I still had an hour or so left and I had no idea where it was going to go from there. Everything seemed like it was where it was supposed to be and I had no clue what else was left. Welp, it turned out there was quite a bit to the story left and Autumn, being the literary genius she is, managed to pack on TWO MORE twists that left me with my jaw on the floor. Honestly, I don’t know how the woman does it, but she always makes such a great story come to life and just when you think it should be over, she surprises you. AMAZING.
I’m so beyond pleased with how this series ended and I’m hoping she revisits this world with other characters because I’m dying to know if Tobias finds someone, I want to know Violet’s whole story, and I would love for Petra to get her own story. I have no idea if any of these ideas are viable, but a girl can dream, lol.
If you haven’t started this series yet, then please do! It’s so incredibly good, and if you like reverse harem, then I highly doubt you’ll be disappointed. As always, if you read one of the books I’ve reviewed, please come back and tell me what you thought!
Happy reading!
