This series.
This effing series.
I jumped on the Stardust bandwagon a little late in the series–around book three, I believe–and have binge read from the beginning twice so far. To say this is my favorite RH series might even be an understatement. I absolutely adore every book, even the beginning where the authors are just starting to establish the story and explain Haley and her dad’s lives. I even loved the parts of the books where I felt like my heart was being torn out of my chest because it’s so incredibly well written.

But, I digress. This review is for this book, so I’ll get to that now.
When we left Haley and her guys at the end of the previous book, there was a slight feeling of uncertainty coming from Haley regarding dating all five men. She obviously has feelings for all of them, and just like anyone would (I presume), she’s struggling with how to balance these feelings for each of the very different men. This book does a good job of picking up after that big reveal: “We want you to choose all of us.”

There are a couple of twists in this book that I didn’t see coming, and for the sake of spoilers I’m not going to say what they are, but they added a whole new layer to the story that made things even more interesting. You also see a surprisingly sweet side to Jackson that I’ve been dying to see from the beginning. The emotions he projects are perfect and it was nice to see a different side to him, rather than the calm and in control leader he usually is.

Polaris does a great job of tying up loose ends and explaining how the relationships with each man work. Even though I could continue reading this series for years to come, I’m happy with how it ended and feel like the story is complete. I even felt like the whole Ethan situation was done very well; although I’ll always have a small place in my heart for him, things ended up the way they were supposed to.

Autumn and Julia have created a beautiful coming of age series filled with love, romance, intrigue, action, and a bit of mystery. I absolutely love this story 🙂

Happy reading!
